Kubernetes Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Are you looking for a challenge in cloud and container technology? Then as a Platform Engineer, you are exactly right to shape the future of a Platform-as-a-Service based on Kubernetes. In this role, you take responsibility for container orchestration and the implementation of complex infrastructures with tools such as ArgoCD, OpenTofu or Ansible. You bring your experience and passion for open-source technologies to improve processes, services and customer projects. As a senior expert, you have the opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic environment and develop further.
Responsibilities:
- You design, implement and operate our Platform-as-a-Service based on Kubernetes
- You conceive and implement demanding customer projects based on Kubernetes
- As a Platform Engineer, you work with technologies such as ArgoCD, OpenTofu, Ansible, Elastic Stack, Grafana Stack and GitLab
- You actively drive the further development and optimisation of our existing services and container infrastructure
- In this role, you accompany customers in agile software development projects from the perspective of ITOps
- You support the open source community
Qualifications:
- You have solid knowledge of Linux, Git, automation and infrastructure as code
- You have experience with Kubernetes or comparable container platforms as well as CI/CD, logging/monitoring and Azure
- You work independently, agilely and according to DevOps principles and actively share your knowledge within the team
- You are motivated to continuously educate yourself and independently learn new technical topics
- You bring teamwork, high customer orientation and a proactive attitude that distinguish you
- You are convincing with very good German and English skills
