Microsoft 365, Azure and modern IT services are your technical home? We are looking for an experienced individual who not only operates cloud and client infrastructures but actively optimises, automates and secures them. The position combines engineering, cloud, security and direct technical influence on demanding IT environments.
Responsibilities:
Technical support of modern Microsoft cloud and hybrid environments
Engineering and further development of Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms
Administration of Azure compute, storage, networking and managed services
Support of hybrid Windows infrastructures and modern client platforms
Analysis and resolution of complex technical faults across multiple support levels
Handling demanding incidents with structured fault analysis and sustainable root cause resolution
Proactive monitoring of systems, cloud resources and services
Optimisation of performance, availability and stability
Further development of Microsoft 365 services and cloud configurations
Support of identity and access management solutions
Implementation of modern security and hardening measures
Analysis of security events and support in securing endpoints and servers
Administration and optimisation of network, storage and virtualisation environments
Technical support of customer platforms both remotely and on site
Creation of technical concepts, operational documentation and support guides
Development of standards and best practices for recurring support and operational processes
Automation of administrative tasks with PowerShell
Participation in cloud migrations, modern workplace projects and infrastructure transformations
Technical consulting of customers in the further development of their IT landscape
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience as a system engineer, cloud engineer, modern workplace engineer or comparable technical role
Completed IT training or a comparable technical qualification
Very good knowledge of modern Microsoft client and server platforms
Solid experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure
Good knowledge of Azure compute, storage, networking and cloud services
Experience with Entra ID, Intune and modern identity concepts is an advantage
Experience with Windows Server and hybrid infrastructures
Knowledge of virtualisation, storage and network technologies
Experience with IT security and endpoint protection
Knowledge of Sophos or comparable security platforms is an advantage
Experience with PowerShell and automation of operational processes
Certifications such as AZ-104, MS-102 or comparable Microsoft certifications are a plus
Strong analytical skills and enjoyment of complex technical problem-solving
High service orientation and professional appearance towards technical contacts
