An experienced architectural personality is sought for the further development of a central specialist application in the social insurance environment. You are responsible for the technical direction of the information system and connect the solution architecture with the underlying ICT platform.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the technical architecture of the information system and the underlying platform
Development and evaluation of solution architectures for projects and new requirements
Further development of the target architecture and planning of technical modernisation
Design of interfaces, APIs, messaging, and authentication mechanisms
Ensuring availability, resilience, and operation across various instances and stages
Technical management of external suppliers and evaluation of technical implementations
Identification of technical risks and definition of standards for security, integration, and compliance
Qualifications:
Degree in computer science or equivalent
Several years of experience in an architectural role
Profound knowledge of distributed systems, integration architectures, and API design
Experience with messaging technologies such as IBM MQ or Kafka
Knowledge of modern identity standards such as OIDC, SAML, LDAP and RBAC
Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift as well as observability and operational architectures
Very good German and good English skills
