As a System Engineer, you bear central responsibility for the operation of applications, databases, and infrastructure systems.
In close collaboration with your team, you ensure that the Ubuntu-based system environment runs stably and is further developed. You support the system administrators in 2nd- and 3rd-level support.
The Linux command line is your familiar terrain, and you appreciate working independently in your field of expertise.
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science
Experience with GNU/Linux systems
Knowledge in the use of Ansible and Puppet
You are familiar with scripting languages
Experience with database systems
Expertise in at least one of the following areas:
Logging stacks such as OpenSearch, Fluentd, Grafana or comparable technologies
Monitoring solutions
Docker environments
Load balancing as well as WAF/Reverse Proxy
Web servers, DNS, PKI or Java Application Server
Strong service orientation as well as high independence and personal responsibility
