Abacus Consultant Finance & Public Administration (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 125,000Our Rocken partner is a nationwide consulting company in Switzerland with a versatile service portfolio. The company supports clients from various industries with solutions in fiduciary services, auditing, management consulting, tax and legal advice, as well as comprehensive IT solutions. For the internal finance department, a committed individual is sought who will take responsibility in accounting and actively contribute to the further development of (digital) processes.
Role:
Do you combine your knowledge in finance and accounting with your enthusiasm for digital solutions? Would you like to support public administrations in making their financial processes more efficient and optimally utilising the potential of modern software? In this position, you will advise municipalities and cities on the application and further development of their financial solutions, accompany exciting projects, and develop practical solutions together with your contacts.
Responsibilities:
Advise and support clients: You will assist municipalities and cities with professional and application-related questions regarding Abacus financial applications and support them in the optimal use of the software.
Coordinate and lead projects: You will take on the leadership of sub-projects or entire initiatives and be responsible for their planning, coordination, and successful implementation.
Analyse requirements: You will gather client needs, analyse existing financial processes, and develop suitable solution concepts based on the software used.
Conduct training and presentations: You will teach users the functions of the software, conduct training sessions on-site or remotely, and present appropriate solution approaches.
Implement client projects: You will accompany assignments from the initial coordination to implementation, document the results, and work closely with internal specialists.
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial basic education and ideally have further training in business administration or business informatics at FA, HF, FH, or university level.
You bring professional experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the environment of a municipality or public administration.
You have solid Abacus knowledge or experience in consulting and supporting financial applications.
You work in a structured, precise, and process-oriented manner, quickly grasp new contexts, and think beyond individual tasks.
You are communicative, sociable, and team-oriented and enjoy competently supporting clients and developing solutions together.
