Responsibilities:
- Accounting and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Control of accounts payable and receivable accounting as well as payment transaction processes.
- Handling dunning procedures and monitoring open items.
- Support in the preparation of financial reports and budget planning.
- Execution of VAT returns and Intrastat reports.
- Contact person for tax-related questions and cooperation with external tax advisors.
- Continuous optimisation and further development of accounting processes.
- Participation in special projects and ad-hoc analyses.
Qualifications:
- Completed commercial basic training with further education in finance (e.g. Swiss Federal Diploma in Financial Accounting, Fiduciary Expert).
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in an international environment.
- Sound knowledge of Swiss tax law and experience in preparing tax returns.
- Confident handling of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Analytical skills and a strong understanding of numbers.
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style.
- Teamwork skills and good communication abilities.
- Business fluent German and good English skills.
