Attached to the Department of Culture and Digital Transition, the Information and Communication Systems Directorate (DSIC) develops and implements the digital transformation strategy of the City of Geneva. Its e-Administration unit manages a portfolio of projects and management applications aimed at better meeting the needs of services, notably through the simplification, optimisation, and dematerialisation of internal processes. Digital Product Manager at 80-100%
Your mission and responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of digital products, from their deployment to their evolution, renewal, and end of life, ensuring their performance, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Define the vision and strategy of the products, gather, analyse and prioritise the needs of the services, define key features and the roadmap, in collaboration with stakeholders and advising management and services on evolution choices.
- Identify opportunities for evolution and maximise the value of products, develop business cases, analyse functional and technical impacts, evaluate costs and benefits, and ensure cost control.
- Plan and coordinate the different phases of the product lifecycle, mobilising internal and external specialists, publishers, and other stakeholders, and lead change within services during deployment and evolution.
- Monitor the quality, performance, and usage of products, define relevant indicators, identify necessary improvements, and ensure competitive intelligence on products.
- Promote product adoption by services, notably by managing a network of users and ensuring functional documentation.
Your profile
- Hold a university Master’s degree in computer science (EPFL, HES, HEC, federal diploma) or an equivalent qualification.
- Have at least 5 years of successful experience in a digital product manager role.
- Possess experience in business analysis.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as good organisational and prioritisation abilities.
- Show rigour, autonomy, a good team spirit, and initiative.
- Exhibit strong leadership.
- Adopt a client, solution, and results-oriented approach and have developed skills to understand, influence, persuade, negotiate, and communicate, both orally and in writing.
