What is my role?
As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you are the central point of contact for all matters related to IT security at our client. You monitor and analyse security incidents, develop protection strategies against cyber threats, and implement them. In doing so, you work closely with various departments to continuously secure the IT infrastructure. You conduct penetration tests and vulnerability analyses, assess risks, and initiate appropriate measures. Furthermore, you are responsible for the further development of security policies and train employees on security issues. In the event of complex security incidents, you coordinate the incident response and ensure a swift resolution.
What do I need to be successful?
Completed studies in computer science, IT security, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in the field of cyber security, ideally in a senior position
Sound knowledge of security tools such as SIEM systems, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
Experience with penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and incident response
Very good knowledge of common security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, BSI)
Understanding of current threat scenarios and attack methods
Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or comparable are advantageous
Analytical thinking and a structured way of working
Teamwork skills and strong communication abilities
Very good German and good English skills
