You don’t just want to process tickets but to noticeably advance a modern IT landscape? In this position as System Engineer Microsoft Cloud & Infrastructure, you combine the stable operation of Microsoft 365 (M365) with exciting infrastructure projects. Security, network, and identity management are part of your daily routine, as is direct contact with employees. You work closely with a committed team and experienced external partners.
Responsibilities:
In 2nd level support incidents, you are the first technical point of contact. You find the cause, help employees quickly, and coordinate complex cases with manufacturers.
You manage identities and access within the framework of identity and access management (IAM) and take care of clients with Intune, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Active Directory.
Furthermore, you keep an eye on endpoint security, backup, and virtualisation, relying on Microsoft Defender and an external managed detection service.
Together with the team, you ensure reliable network operation with Cisco technologies and a central management platform.
Additionally, you participate in digitalisation and technology projects as well as in the further development of the ITSM platform and IT processes.
You also create documentation and standards and occasionally step in for support, hotline, or on-call duties.
Qualifications:
You bring a basic education as an IT specialist EFZ platform development or an equivalent qualification, as well as several years of experience in system technology.
You are confident in the Microsoft world, especially in Microsoft 365, Intune, Exchange Online, and Active Directory.
Additionally, you have experience in client and endpoint management and ideally first contact with VMware, Veeam, and network technology.
You are already familiar with Cisco environments or are eager to deepen your knowledge in this area.
You approach problems in a solution-oriented manner, keep an overview even in hectic moments, and gladly take on responsibility. You follow new developments in IT security attentively.
You also appreciate exchanging ideas with internal customers, work collaboratively in a team, and are fluent in German while expressing yourself confidently in English.
