Inhouse GRC Consultant (m/f/d)
Our client is an established technology company that develops and realises sophisticated technical systems and components for international applications. The company combines development, manufacturing, and technical services and supports its solutions through various phases.
Precision, quality, and reliable processes characterise the working environment. You can expect a technically demanding environment with short decision-making paths, high personal responsibility, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Role:
You take on a central role in managing and further developing all governance, risk, and compliance topics. In doing so, you connect regulatory requirements, information security, data protection, and risk management with the operational demands of a challenging environment. You work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure that requirements are not only met but sustainably anchored in the relevant processes.
Responsibilities:
You are the central contact point for all GRC topics and coordinate collaboration between the group, real estate organisation, and external providers.
You are responsible for the specialist areas of information security, data protection, trade compliance, business continuity management, and risk.
You continuously operate and develop the ISMS and ensure the implementation of basic protection.
You review internal and external providers regarding agreed services, SLAs, and compliance requirements.
You lead GRC initiatives and coordinate corresponding projects across various stakeholders.
You monitor regulatory developments and derive necessary adjustments for local requirements and directives.
You manage the entire risk process, identify and assess business and IT risks, and conduct regular risk reviews.
You maintain and further develop the existing risk system.
You create meaningful status reports and dashboards for different stakeholder groups.
You conduct awareness measures and professionally prepare internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
You have a degree in business informatics, business administration, law, or a comparable field.
You bring several years of experience in documenting processes and controls as well as in participating in or leading projects.
Ideally, you are familiar with regulatory or strongly compliance-oriented working environments from practice.
You have solid knowledge in IT security and data protection and ideally know the requirements of the revised Swiss Data Protection Act.
You bring experience in risk management as well as in developing and maintaining policies and frameworks according to ISO 27001 or NIST.
You quickly familiarise yourself with complex matters and approach tasks independently, structured, and precisely.
You have a high digital competence and an affinity for GRC software solutions.
You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
You communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders and can convey complex topics appropriately for the audience.
You have very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
