Export and Import Clerk 100% (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF78,000 - 84,500Our client is an internationally oriented Swiss company in the high-tech and aerospace sector. From development through industrialisation to production, technically sophisticated systems for professional applications are created at the company’s own site. An innovation-driven environment, interdisciplinary collaboration and international customer projects characterise the company.
Responsibilities:
Handling international export and import shipments from scheduling to delivery
Preparation and verification of customs, shipping and import documents
Organisation of transports with freight forwarders and other logistics partners
Clarification of customs issues and support during customs inspections
Maintenance and control of customs tariff numbers and relevant ERP data
Monitoring delivery dates and handling logistical deviations
Checking freight invoices and analysing transport-related key figures
Support with goods receipt, warehouse processes and inventory controls
Qualifications:
3-5 years of professional experience in export, import, freight forwarding or logistics environment
Good knowledge of international shipping and customs procedures
Confident handling of customs tariff numbers, HS codes and Incoterms
Experience in preparing export and import documents
Good user knowledge of an ERP system
Practical experience in working with freight forwarders, suppliers and customs authorities
Analytical and structured working style with good numerical understanding
Very good German and good English skills
