System Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
Do you think about IT not only in day-to-day business but also in future-proof solutions? This position offers the opportunity to technically further develop a versatile infrastructure, use modern technologies, and actively take responsibility in digitalisation.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring a stable, secure, and high-performance IT operation
Support and further development of heterogeneous server and network environments
Administration of Windows and Linux systems
Further development of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other central IT services
Support of database and application platforms
Planning and implementation of lifecycle, migration, and modernisation projects
Optimisation of monitoring, backup, security, and disaster recovery concepts
Automation of recurring administration tasks with PowerShell or comparable tools
Participation in cloud transformations and hybrid infrastructure models
Support in the further development of digital platforms and services
Analysis and resolution of complex system and network faults
Technical documentation and continuous optimisation of existing processes
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science or comparable technical qualification
Several years of experience in system engineering, system administration, or IT operations
Sound knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
Very good understanding of networks, server architectures, and IT security
Experience with Active Directory and modern Microsoft technologies
Knowledge of virtualisation, cloud, or automation is a plus
Analytical thinking and enjoyment of complex technical challenges
Independent, structured, and reliable working style
Team orientation and strong sense of responsibility
Willingness to actively drive technical topics forward and critically question existing solutions
