As an Audio Technician in the Studio & MCR at MySports, you are responsible for the smooth technical implementation of audio and broadcast productions. You ensure everything runs perfectly in the studio, monitor and switch signals in the Master Control Room, and guarantee high audio quality. With your technical know-how, attention to detail, and interest in ice hockey, you contribute decisively to a professional on-air experience.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
- You are responsible for the trouble-free broadcast operation in the studio, MCR, and playout at MySports, including planning and provision of audio and intercom connections
- You set up and operate the Lawo audio mixer according to daily needs
- You mix the sound of the studio production as well as the commentators on the individual game channels
- You support post-production (editing and ENG) with audio-technical questions
- You advise the editorial team and production managers on audio-technical matters
- You monitor and ensure quality standards in the audio broadcast environment
YOUR SKILLS:
- Completed technical basic training as a multimedia electronics technician, media technician, electronics technician, or IT specialist
- Further training as a sound technician and/or several years of professional experience in broadcast technologies with a focus on audio and network technology
- Solid technical understanding of audio broadcast systems, network technologies, and media technology, especially IP technologies in the audio field
- Enjoy working in a dynamic, innovative company with a start-up flair as well as enthusiasm for sport, especially ice hockey
- Organisational talent, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team
- Independent working style and problem-solving competence
- Willingness to work regular evening and weekend shifts
- Fluent German and English skills, French is an advantage
