About the job
The Department of Sustainability, Economy and Tourism implements municipal policies regarding sustainability, economic development and tourism promotion. It fosters the vitality of the area, supports local stakeholders and contributes to the attractiveness and sustainable transition of Vevey.
A key resource person within the department, you will ensure the administrative follow-up of files, support the various activities of the department and contribute to the quality of the reception offered to the public and partners. Among other duties, you will be responsible for the following main tasks:
- Welcoming and providing information to the public
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail, as well as the department’s email inboxes
- Drafting, formatting and distributing correspondence, reports, municipal proposals, minutes and other administrative documents
- Processing invoices from suppliers, debtors and other service providers
- Handling and following up on subsidy requests from the Energy and Sustainable Development Fund
- Monitoring services dedicated to the public, including the Dring Dring delivery service and the Vevey train station bike station
- Participating in the management and monitoring of the administration’s mobility plan (checking criteria, purchasing SBB tickets, monitoring municipal drivers, etc.)
- Organising meetings
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of administrative processes
This position requires:
- Commercial employee CFC or equivalent training
- Excellent knowledge of common IT tools (MS Office)
- Organisational skills and excellent priority management
- A welcoming manner
- Accuracy and rigour
- Initiative and teamwork spirit
- Mastery of French spelling and writing
- Presence days to be determined, with mandatory presence on Thursday mornings and except Fridays, which are non-working days
