Senior Microsoft Solutions Engineer

Complex IT landscapes require specialists who combine cloud technologies and classic infrastructure into a powerful overall solution. In this role, you design modern Microsoft environments, accompany technical decisions, and take responsibility for the successful implementation of demanding customer solutions. You combine high-level engineering with direct customer contact and an active role in technical development.

Responsibilities:

Designing infrastructures

• You develop viable solutions for Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid IT architectures.

• You ensure that availability, performance, and security are considered in the design and implementation.

• You manage and optimise Windows server, virtualisation, storage, and network environments.

Advancing customer projects

• You accompany complex projects from requirements analysis to technical realisation.

• You develop suitable solution concepts together with architecture and project management.

• You conduct workshops, clarify technical requirements, and support customers in important infrastructure decisions.

• You take technical responsibility for your solutions and coordinate closely with service delivery management.

Ensuring operation and quality

• You solve demanding problems in 2nd-level support and implement complex changes in a controlled manner.

• You document architectures, configurations, and technical processes comprehensibly.

• You continuously improve existing systems and contribute your expertise to the further development of services.

Qualifications:

Technical profile

• You have completed training in computer systems engineering or an equivalent qualification.

• You bring several years of experience in senior system engineering.

• You are proficient in Microsoft 365 and Azure and have sound knowledge of classic and hybrid infrastructures.

• You are familiar with Windows Server, virtualisation, storage, and networking.

• You hold a high level of certification in the Microsoft environment.

Personality and collaboration

• You approach technical challenges analytically and structured and work independently.

• You communicate customer-oriented and can convey complex matters understandably.

• You are team-oriented, pragmatic, and keep an overview even in demanding situations.

• You communicate very well in German and well in English and hold a category B driving licence.
