You operate and continuously develop a modern, hybrid IT infrastructure (On-Prem & Azure)
In this role, you lead IT projects and evaluate new technologies for future-proof deployment
As an IT System Engineer, you optimise virtualisation platforms such as Proxmox and VMware during ongoing operations
You contribute to security measures, increase user awareness, and support hardening as well as incident handling
In this role, you automate and standardise operations and monitoring via RMM tools and custom scripts
You are responsible for the operation and lifecycle management of Windows and Linux server landscapes as well as Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
Qualifications:
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist EFZ or comparable additional IT training with several years of professional experience
- Solid practical experience in server administration, network technology, and IT security
- Confident handling of current technologies such as Windows Server, Office 365, and Teams
- In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and WLAN
- Strong hands-on mentality as well as independent, structured, and responsible working style
- High commitment, teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and good German and English language skills
