Behind this advertisement, a Swiss company based in the canton of Vaud, recognised in the design of industrial systems, is looking for an ABB Robotics Expert Engineer to develop new machines.
You will be responsible for programming, optimisation and support of robotic cells integrated into machines, working closely with the process, automation and software teams.
You will be directly recruited on a permanent contract, with a long-term objective (no consulting or secondment assignments).
Your responsibilities
Develop and maintain robot programmes.
Create, analyse and optimise trajectories and sequences (including trajectories derived from internal algorithms).
Participate in testing, validation and fine-tuning phases until compliance with functional requirements.
Collaborate daily with automation and software teams (technical interfaces).
Write and maintain technical documentation (programmes, versions, procedures).
Write the functional analyses necessary for developments (sequence logic / requirements).
Provide support and maintenance for deployed systems (fixes, improvements, upgrades).
Travel possible depending on projects
Profile sought
Education in robotics, automation, mechatronics or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years in industrial robot programming (senior profile).
Experience with ABB robots and tools
Proven experience in industrial integration
Real-time trajectory tracking experience is an asset.
Comfortable in a multidisciplinary context (process / automation / software).
Autonomous, pragmatic personality, problem-solving oriented, good interpersonal skills.
Professional English and French required (spoken/written).
