Induction Brazing and Welding Operator (M/F)

On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for an Induction Brazing and Welding Operator (M/F).

Your future responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will work independently within a dedicated workshop. Your activities will be as follows:

• Brazing and shrink fitting operations on induction station:

  • You will carry out silver brazing on small induction machines.

  • You will follow automated programmes with temperature control by laser pyrometer.

  • You will assemble and braze measuring probes in hard metal (HM) on stainless steel bodies.

  • You will perform hot shrink fitting operations (expansion of female parts for insertion of ceramic components).

• Work with conventional blowtorch:

  • You will be responsible for assembly and heating by electrode/blowtorch for larger parts.

• Finishing and surface treatment:

  • You will apply the protective flux (water/powder mixture) to prevent scale during heating.

  • You will ensure cleaning, water pickling and precision brushing of brazes using small brushes.

  • You will perform the final polishing of components.

• Versatility & maintenance:

  • You will actively participate in ancillary workshop tasks according to production needs.

Your profile:

• You have an initial technical training (CFC in mechanics, micromechanics, metallurgy or equivalent qualification), or you have solid experience in the profession that compensates for the training.
• Ideally, you have some experience in welding/brazing and knowledge of mechanics or milling (a serious asset).
• You demonstrate excellent manual dexterity and precision to work on small parts.
• You are rigorous, organised and able to manage several tasks simultaneously with method.
• You show great autonomy and enjoy independent work in a workshop.
