As an intern, you will develop methods and tools to identify anomalies in billing data. This internship is aimed at someone in training wishing to gain practical experience in data science applied to health insurance .
What you do daily
You analyse business needs and detection objectives to define the study scope and relevant indicators. You develop a data processing pipeline to collect, clean, transform and prepare the data necessary for analyses.
You design and implement one or more statistical anomaly detection methods adapted to the business context. You also build the analytical tables needed at different levels of granularity and define a star schema data model to structure information for analysis and visualisation.
You develop a dashboard to facilitate the identification, monitoring and analysis of detected anomalies. You validate the relevance of the results obtained with the business teams, then present the developed tool and the insights gained from the analysis to encourage its adoption and operational use.
