You have experience in ICT system engineering and want to operate modern IT infrastructures reliably and continuously develop them? In this position, you are responsible for virtual and physical server environments, monitor local systems as well as cloud services, and ensure a stable and secure IT landscape.
In addition to operational management, you take on tasks in 2nd level support, further develop backup and recovery solutions, and implement versatile IT projects in collaboration with internal departments and external partners.
Responsibilities:
Operation and further development of VMware environments and physical servers at various locations
Monitoring and optimisation of local infrastructure as well as the Azure cloud
Setup, maintenance, and further development of Veeam backup and disaster recovery solutions
Analysis and resolution of complex faults in 2nd level support
Detection of security incidents and implementation of preventive protection measures
Planning and management of IT projects in collaboration with internal teams and external service providers
Qualifications:
Completed technical training EFZ with further education in ICT system technology or comparable qualification
Good knowledge of Windows Server and network technologies; Linux knowledge is an advantage
Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure; experience with Azure Automation and Logic Apps is a plus
Practical experience with VMware, Veeam, Cisco, PowerShell, and SQL
Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage, as well as a category B driving licence
