Specialist Controlling & Financing Social Institutions (a)

Do you want to achieve real impact with controlling? In this role, you design and negotiate the financing of services for people with disabilities as well as for children and young people, analyse developments and help shape the social services of tomorrow together with a motivated team.
Your tasks
- As a competent contact person for social institutions and employees of the department, you advise them specifically on business management issues.
- You analyse and assess annual financial statements and cost accounting (BAB) of social institutions as part of the annual reporting and prepare tariff calculations, operational comparisons, and analyses of cost and performance development.
- You negotiate the annual service agreements with social institutions together with the social pedagogical specialists and ensure transparent, needs-based, and financially sound service management.
- You actively support the department's planning and controlling process - from budgeting through reporting to the annual financial statement - and continuously develop processes, methods, and tools.
- You assess investment projects of social institutions from a financial perspective and actively participate in projects of our specialist departments, contributing your financial expertise.
Your profile
- You have a degree at FH level or higher in business administration, controlling, or accounting and have supplemented your qualifications with appropriate further training.
- Your several years of experience in controlling enable you to confidently analyse complex business management issues and prepare well-founded decisions.
- In collaboration with social institutions and internal specialists, you bring both professional understanding and enthusiasm for social topics and convince with clear communication as well as your pronounced negotiation skills.
- Your enjoyment of working with IT tools and an affinity for digitalisation support you in further developing processes.
- You ideally have knowledge of public administration, the SEG-/IVSE sector, or the social security system - or you are motivated to acquire it in order to actively develop the specialist area.
