Role:

For our Rocken partner, we are looking for an experienced individual who takes responsibility for central tasks in accounting. In this role, you ensure reliable handling of financial processes and actively contribute to the further development of accounting. You will work with various departments and external partners and apply your experience specifically to optimising and further developing existing structures.

Responsibilities:

• You coordinate the monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities and ensure correct and timely reporting

• You review bookings and account reconciliations, analyse financial deviations and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards

• You manage the accounting processes of subsidiaries and ensure uniform and reliable handling

• You optimise existing accounting processes and internal control mechanisms and support the implementation of automation and digitalisation initiatives

• You contribute to audits, professional accounting topics, VAT issues as well as other projects in the finance area

Qualifications:

• You have a solid professional education in finance and accounting or a degree in accounting, finance or a comparable field

• You have several years of practical experience in accounting and ideally have already worked in an internationally oriented environment

• You bring sound knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER and/or IFRS and are familiar with internal control systems and group accounting

• You work confidently with modern finance and ERP systems and preferably have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI or Workiva

• You communicate very well in English and well in German, both written and spoken
