Responsibilities:
- Carrying out the monthly payroll, including all tax and social security aspects.
- Ensuring timely payment of wages and salaries as well as compliance with all statutory reporting and payment obligations.
- Processing and posting payroll and social security relevant transactions.
- Performing financial accounting, including account reconciliation, postings and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Supporting the preparation of financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
- Contact person for internal and external stakeholders, such as tax authorities, social security institutions and employees, in payroll and financial accounting matters.
- Contributing to the optimisation of processes and the implementation of new accounting systems.
Qualifications:
- Commercial training as well as further education in finance and accounting with a federal diploma
- Professional experience in an identical position
- Knowledge of payroll accounting and social security law
- Confident German language skills (written and spoken)
