IT infrastructure is more than user management and tickets: We are looking for an ambitious system technician who has already gained some practical experience after the EFZ and now wants to dive deeper into modern infrastructure. The focus is on stable systems, secure networks, and building cloud know-how.
Responsibilities:
Operation and technical further development of a versatile IT infrastructure
Administration of server, storage, and virtualisation systems
Support of network components, routing, switching, and WLAN
Participation in the introduction and optimisation of cloud-based services
Building practical know-how around Azure and hybrid cloud architectures
Support with Microsoft 365 and identity topics
Monitoring the system landscape using modern monitoring and alerting
Handling more complex support cases and technical fault analysis
Participation in updates, migrations, and lifecycle projects
Support with backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
Implementation of security measures in the areas of endpoint, network, and access protection
Automation of recurring tasks with PowerShell
Maintenance of technical documentation and infrastructure standards
Support in the introduction of new technologies and services
Close collaboration with experienced engineers on more complex infrastructure topics
Qualifications:
IT specialist EFZ or a comparable technical education
Initial practical experience in operating IT systems, ideally 1-2 years
Interest in server technologies, networks, and cloud computing
Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and modern network architectures
First experience with Windows Server, Linux, or virtualisation
Ideally first contact with Azure, Microsoft 365, or Entra ID
Interest in IT security and modern identity concepts
Enjoyment of automation and the use of PowerShell
Technical understanding and a pronounced ability to troubleshoot
Initiative and willingness to continuously develop
Reliable and structured working style
Enjoyment of teamwork and solving technical challenges together
