You are looking for a challenge where you can fully utilise your skills as a system engineer. In this role, you take responsibility for application operations and ensure that applications run smoothly, stay up to date, and that disruptions are quickly resolved. You have access to the entire stack and do not need to open tickets to solve problems. Your focus is on troubleshooting and resolving issues, from application logs through the database to the network. You will take on a lot of responsibility and have short communication paths, which guarantees no boredom.
Responsibilities:
You operate our internal and client-side applications
In this role, you support 2nd-level support and resolve disruptions
As a system engineer, you automate deployments and recurring operational tasks
You deploy applications on our container platform and contribute to its further development
You assist with server management, virtualisation, and internal IT
In this role, you develop scripts to automate operational tasks
Qualifications:
You have completed training in computer science or have comparable professional experience
You systematically narrow down disruptions, from the application through the database to the network
Ideally, you have knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or Rancher
You have experience operating Linux and/or Windows servers
You have knowledge of databases, web servers, and reverse proxies
You have experience with automation, for example with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
You speak very good German and English
