System Engineer Microsoft Infrastructure (m/f/d)

Role:
Stable IT infrastructures are created through modern technologies and experienced specialists. We are looking for a committed individual who operates Microsoft system landscapes, supports innovative infrastructure projects, and actively ensures the reliable operation of a modern IT environment.
Responsibilities:
Operation, administration, and continuous development of modern Microsoft infrastructures
Management of Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware platforms
Support of hybrid IT environments with Microsoft 365 and Azure
Ensuring the availability of server, storage, and virtualisation platforms
Implementation of lifecycle, patch, and security measures
Analysis and sustainable resolution of complex system faults in 2nd and 3rd level support
Automation of administrative tasks with PowerShell and modern infrastructure tools
Participation in infrastructure, cloud, and modernisation projects
Optimisation of backup, monitoring, and recovery solutions
Creation of technical documentation and continuous improvement of existing operational processes
Qualifications:
Education in computer science or comparable technical qualification
Several years of experience as a system engineer or system administrator
Very good knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
Experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft 365, and Azure
Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and file services
Experience with backup, monitoring, and virtualisation solutions
Interest in automation with PowerShell and modern cloud technologies
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
High service orientation and enthusiasm for complex infrastructure topics
