This is what your daily routine looks like
- At the core: You review inpatient services across all specialist areas and ensure correct billing with your expertise.
- Using modern systems, you identify potentially incorrect codings and address them with clear, concise statements.
- You actively participate in the further development and optimisation of our rule set for semi-automated coding review.
- You always keep regulatory and tariff requirements in view, analyse trends, and develop innovative measures from them.
- Team spirit is a given for you: You promote professional exchange and contribute your experience and ideas to the continuous improvement of our team.
What you bring with you
- First and foremost: You have completed basic training in the medical or nursing field – this forms your solid foundation.
- Additionally, you have successfully completed further training as a Medical Coder and already gained professional experience in medical coding.
- You bring sound knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system; experience in health insurance or social insurance is a great advantage.
- You communicate confidently and fluently in German, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of French or Italian is an advantage.
- With curiosity, you question existing processes, contribute your own ideas, and actively shape changes.
