Process Engineer
Purpose of the Role
As a Process Engineer in the "PCE Machining" team, you are the central interface between production, team leaders and management. You support manufacturing by analysing and optimising production processes. In addition, you drive lean and digitalisation initiatives and ensure that production workflows function efficiently, sustainably and without disruption.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing new and existing production processes to ensure stable and efficient production
- Defining and integrating new equipment (production plants, operating resources and fixtures)
- Participating in and leading larger and smaller projects
- Working closely with internal teams as well as external partners
- Troubleshooting operational production challenges (2nd level support)
- Creating and presenting concepts, documentation, and training materials for our processes
Qualifications
- Completed basic training as a polymechanic or comparable qualification
- Independent, solution- and goal-oriented working style
- Experience in an industrial production environment, good understanding of production processes
- Good communication skills, entrepreneurial thinking and teamwork
- Innovative spirit, pragmatic hands-on mentality and high enthusiasm for process engineering challenges
- German and English spoken and written
- Experience with LEAN management methods (LEAN Six Sigma training advantageous)
- Good MS Office skills, experience with MS PowerBI advantageous
