Platform & Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Complex IT landscapes need people who not only operate systems but actively shape their future. This position is aimed at experienced engineers who enjoy Linux, automation and modern platform technology, who want to combine stability with innovation and sustainably advance technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Engineering and continuous optimisation of a demanding enterprise IT platform
Operation and further development of central application, system and integration services
Ensuring robust, highly available and secure operating environments
Technical analysis of incidents, performance issues and cross-system errors
Development of automated operational processes and self-service solutions
Standardisation of deployments, configurations and recurring operations tasks
Building and optimising observability for applications and infrastructure
Support with technical migrations, upgrades and modernisation projects
Collaboration with internal product and service managers as well as specialised partners
Consulting on technical questions regarding architecture, operation and system integration
Development of technical standards and best practices
Maintenance of architecture, operation and solution documentation
Active participation in agile teams and interdisciplinary technology projects
Qualifications:
Solid education or advanced training in computer science
Several years of experience as a system engineer, infrastructure engineer, platform engineer, application engineer or in a similar technical role
Very good knowledge of the Linux environment
Experience with highly available IT services and complex system landscapes
Practical experience in automation, scripting and modern system administration
Understanding of network, security, database and application dependencies
Experience with DevOps principles and agile working methods
Solution-oriented thinking and enjoyment in solving technical problems at their root
High personal responsibility and interest in modern technologies
