Your mission
As a Sanitary Engineer, you participate in the design, study and development of sanitary installations for projects (finishing works). You contribute to the technical execution of mandates in collaboration with project managers and the various building disciplines.

Relevant techniques
Building sanitary installations:
- Distribution of cold and hot sanitary water
- Wastewater and rainwater drainage
- Special installations (depending on projects)
Project management
- Lead and coordinate projects from A to Z in the S domain (SIA phases 3, 4, 5)
- Define technical concepts, carry out studies and sizing S, establish principle diagrams and compare variants
- Perform or verify sanitary sizing calculations
- Write preliminary and project descriptions, as well as cost estimates
- Prepare submissions, preliminary measurements and plans
- Participate in spatial coordination of installations (CVSE)
- Be able to produce hydraulic and aeraulic plans
Execution follow-up
- Ensure execution follow-up services on site
- Control work compliance, perform final tests
- Manage company costs
- Plan and administer technical files according to the ISO quality manual
Management and coordination
- Ensure smooth running of projects on technical, financial and time levels
- Monitor financial indicators and ensure rigorous budget management
- Ensure documentary compliance according to ISO requirements
- Have in-depth knowledge of the project-related contract (prerequisites, included and excluded services)
- Ability to support Management during acquisition
- Organise and monitor the activity of designers and internal resources in coordination with other disciplines
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineering offices and various trades
- Manage the services of contracting companies and monitor their costs
Your profile
- EPF / HES engineering training or CFC (with experience) or equivalent diploma
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a design office or S technical field in Switzerland
- Mastery of S installations and current Swiss technical standards
- Ability to manage projects independently
- Skills in multidisciplinary coordination (CVSE) – an asset
- Knowledge of building automation / BMS – an asset
- Good interpersonal skills, organisational sense and team spirit
- Knowledge of English or German – an asset
