Role:
Shape technology instead of just operating it: Develop a modern ICT landscape and take responsibility for critical systems.
We are looking for an experienced ICT professional who combines technical depth with architectural understanding and strategic thinking. The focus is on modern infrastructure, cloud, and platform solutions, their reliable operation, and the continuous development of a future-proof IT landscape.
Responsibilities:
Design and further development of modern ICT, cloud, and hosting architectures
Responsibility for the technical stability and further development of business-critical platforms and systems
Development of scalable and secure solution architectures for complex technical requirements
Technical leadership of demanding infrastructure, cloud, migration, and transformation projects
Analysis of existing system landscapes and development of sustainable modernisation strategies
Evaluation of new technologies regarding security, cost-effectiveness, scalability, and benefit
Definition of technical standards for infrastructure, cloud, security, and platform operation
Development of technology roadmaps and long-term architectural strategies
Consulting departments and customers on complex technical decisions
Accompanying architectural decisions from conception to productive implementation
Ensuring professional processes for change, release, backup, recovery, and problem management
Analysis of complex disruptions and management of sustainable solution approaches
Optimisation of monitoring, alerting, performance, and patch management
Further development of operating models, documentation, and technical standards
Participation in topics related to business continuity, information security, and data protection
Professional exchange, coaching, and knowledge transfer within the ICT environment
Qualifications:
Education or further training in computer science, business informatics, system engineering, or a comparable field
Several years of experience in operating and further developing complex ICT infrastructures
Solid knowledge of server, network, cloud, and platform technologies
Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures
Practical experience in developing technical architectures and solution concepts
Experience in technical leadership of infrastructure, cloud, or transformation projects
Good knowledge of modern security concepts and their implementation in complex system landscapes
Experience with automation, monitoring, and standardised operating processes
Understanding of modern software architectures, APIs, and interfaces
Strong analytical skills and a high quality awareness
Ability to prepare complex technical topics understandably for different target groups
Independent, solution-oriented, and responsible working style
Enjoyment of technical exchange, knowledge transfer, and continuous development
