About the job
The Economic Service of the City of Lausanne contributes to the economic, commercial and cultural development of the city. In this context, it ensures the application of legal provisions within its areas of competence, conducts administrative procedures, issues decisions and grants various authorisations. To ensure the legal support of these activities, we are looking, following the departure of the current post holder, for a legal officer at 80%.

Main mission(s)
Advise and support the units of the Service on legal matters related to their activities
Process complex files and draft administrative decisions as well as legal acts within the Service's competences
Ensure the follow-up of administrative and contentious procedures
Guarantee the compliance of the Service's practices with applicable legal provisions
Participate in the development of regulatory amendment projects, directives and internal procedures
Profile
University Master’s degree in Swiss law
Bar admission
3 to 5 years of professional experience as a legal officer, preferably in a public administration
Mastery of administrative law
Experience in construction law is an asset
Knowledge of the functioning of public administrations
Good writing skills
Organised, autonomous, rigorous person with a sense of priorities
Aptitude for teamwork
