Role:
You are responsible for system operation and infrastructure in a predominantly on-premise Microsoft environment and ensure stable, secure IT operations. In this position, you administer backup and email systems, Microsoft core services as well as internal specialist applications and monitor the network infrastructure. You are responsible for client management and automation, package and distribute operating systems, software and updates, and administer Microsoft 365. In addition, you take on project responsibility within your own area of tasks, evaluate and implement new IT systems, and support the team in second-level support. You work in a structured, analytical and solution-oriented manner.
Responsibilities:
You administer backup and email systems (Microsoft Exchange on-premise), Microsoft core services as well as internal specialist applications and monitor the network
You resolve vulnerabilities and errors in IT systems and support other systems and applications
You package and distribute operating systems, software and updates/patches with endpoint management software and GPO
You administer Microsoft 365 in a predominantly on-premise environment
You evaluate and implement new IT systems, take on project responsibility and participate in cross-departmental IT projects
In addition, you support the IT team and provide second-level support for internal requests
Qualifications:
You have at least 3 years of professional experience as a system engineer or administrator in a Microsoft environment
You have sound knowledge of Windows server operating systems (Linux is an advantage) as well as the modern Microsoft product range (M365 apps are an advantage)
You are familiar with AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Azure, PowerShell and scripting in general
You work in a structured, analytical and solution-oriented manner and have good communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team
You are responsible, committed, flexible, resilient, honest and loyal
You are willing to work outside regular working hours and are fluent in German
