Internal Sales Clerk 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Support of the field sales team in technical and administrative matters

• Calculation of customer enquiries and preparation of quotations

• Order entry, processing and ongoing follow-up until delivery

• Competent customer care to ensure smooth order processing

• Compilation of all necessary documents for work preparation

• Coordination of appointments in agreement with production planning

• Close cooperation with the sales representatives in the field

• Central contact person for customers and sales team by telephone and e-mail

What do I need to be successful?

• Successfully completed vocational training with a federal certificate of competence in a technical field

• Additional qualification as a technical sales clerk with a federal diploma is a plus

• Professional experience in internal sales is desirable

• Several years of professional experience of 3-5 years, preferably in the metal processing industry

• Strong technical understanding combined with precise and structured working methods

• Business fluent German; French skills in spoken and written form as well as understanding of Swiss German are advantageous

• Confident use of MS Office applications; knowledge of ERP systems such as SAGE 100 is desirable

• Team-oriented personality with an open, communicative manner and strong self-motivation

• Reliable, eager to learn and independent working style
