An Assistant Manager M/F

Job mission :

• In addition to their duties as a bookseller, in the absence of management, the Assistant Manager is the reference and guarantor of the application of standards and procedures in the operation of the bookshop
• They organise daily work according to priorities and ensure task control (administrative, technical, commercial)
• Versatile, they are able to perform all functions. They relay downward information and transmit necessary information to the manager. Proactive in all areas, they make improvement suggestions.

We are looking for people who are:

• Friendly, with a sense of commerce and service
• With several years of experience in a bookseller position involving purchasing, stock management and sales responsibilities
• Possessing solid knowledge of the book economic circuit (publishers, distributors, wholesalers)
• Proficient with bibliographic research tools and databases (Tite Live, Electre)
• Cheerful, warm, methodical and rigorous.
