Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 105,000Role:
Do you want to take on a responsible role in accounting and not only manage the bookkeeping but also actively contribute to its further development? For an established Swiss company with a demanding product environment, we are looking for an experienced individual who has a firm grasp of numbers and enjoys thinking beyond their own area of responsibility. You can expect a varied position with direct exchange with management and various specialist departments.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the ongoing financial accounting of several companies and ensure the correct processing of all business transactions
You manage the accounts receivable, accounts payable and asset accounting and keep an overview of the relevant processes
You contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss accounting standards
You take care of the VAT returns and ensure the correct reconciliation of the corresponding accounts
You coordinate the expense management and ensure a structured processing of submitted receipts
You prepare meaningful evaluations and reports and provide relevant decision-making bases for management
You support controlling topics and contribute to the planning and monitoring of liquidity
You work with external partners such as auditors and tax consultants and provide the necessary documents
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship and further training in finance and accounting or have a comparable higher qualification in accounting or controlling
You bring several years of professional experience in financial accounting and are familiar with managing multiple companies
You have solid knowledge of Swiss accounting and are familiar with tax issues
You have experience with financial statements and understand the requirements for clean and comprehensible financial accounting
You work confidently with ERP and accounting systems; knowledge of SAP and Abacus is an advantage
You are proficient in MS Office and especially Excel
You have very good German skills; good English skills are an advantage, Italian skills a plus
