Role:

You are a versatile IT generalist and feel at home in complex Microsoft environments? From modern server landscapes to cloud technologies and client and network architectures, you keep an overview. We are looking for an experienced system technician who independently solves technical challenges and actively develops the IT infrastructure further.

Responsibilities:

• Technical responsibility for the operation and further development of a versatile Microsoft infrastructure

• Administration and optimisation of Windows Server and client environments

• Support of modern Microsoft 365 and Azure services

• Management of Active Directory, Entra ID, group policies, and permission concepts

• Ensuring stable operation of network, server, and virtualisation environments

• Administration and further development of Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and other business applications

• Analysis and resolution of complex technical faults in 2nd and 3rd level support

• Implementation of security policies, system updates, and patch management

• Automation of recurring administrative tasks with PowerShell

• Planning and implementation of technical migrations, system expansions, and infrastructure projects

• Optimisation of backup, recovery, and monitoring concepts

• Technical consulting of internal stakeholders and support with IT queries

Qualifications:

• Completed training or further education in computer science, system technology, or comparable

• Several years of professional experience in system administration or system engineering

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Windows Client

• Very good experience with Active Directory, group policies, and Entra ID

• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and SharePoint

• Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V

• Knowledge in network administration, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and firewall technologies

• Good PowerShell skills and interest in automation

• Experience with backup, monitoring, and security solutions

• Ideally practical experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud architectures

• Analytical and structured working style as well as strong service orientation
