For an established Swiss IT service company, we are looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer who designs demanding Microsoft environments, takes on technical responsibility, and actively contributes their expertise to the team.

Responsibilities:

• You design, implement, and migrate modern digital workplace infrastructures for demanding customer environments.

• You take on the technical lead in customer projects and develop innovative modern workplace solutions.

• You plan, operate, and optimise Microsoft 365 environments with Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Entra ID.

• You implement secure identity and access management solutions with Conditional Access, MFA, and hybrid identity architectures.

• You implement and operate endpoint management solutions with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and automated application deployment.

• You automate operational processes with PowerShell and optimise existing Windows server and client infrastructures.

• You analyse complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support and ensure sustainable technical solutions.

• You further develop technical standards and documentation and support junior engineers in building professional knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Several years of professional experience as a Senior System Engineer, Microsoft System Engineer, or Modern Workplace Engineer

• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, PKI, and Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Entra ID)

• Experience with Identity & Access Management, Conditional Access, MFA, and hybrid identity solutions

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, endpoint management, and PowerShell automation

• Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops as well as virtualisation and hypervisor environments

• Basic knowledge of enterprise networking, firewall technologies (e.g. Fortinet), and ideally Microsoft Teams Voice

• Independent, communicative personality with a hands-on mentality, enjoyment of customer contact, and very good German language skills
