Role:
You are looking for a new challenge as a Platform Engineer and already have professional experience. In this role, you take responsibility for the development and operation of platforms. You are responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of solutions to meet your stakeholders’ requirements. You contribute your skills and experience to continuously improve and optimise the platforms. You are an important part of the team and contribute to the successful implementation of projects.
Responsibilities:
You develop, automate and operate the private cloud together with your team
You provide self-service solutions for our product teams, enabling them to independently deploy and manage environments
You support the product teams with security, compliance and monitoring aspects and help ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001
You work closely with product teams and the architecture guild to coordinate DevOps processes and platform decisions
You evaluate new technologies and continuously develop our platform – focusing on automation, stability and security
As a Private Cloud Engineer, you are responsible for the continuous development and operation of the platform
Qualifications:
- You have a higher vocational qualification in computer science
- You have experience in operating cloud infrastructures, DevOps and IT operations
- You have solid knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm as well as CI/CD tools
- You are familiar with GitOps, infrastructure as code, secrets management and monitoring tools
- You enjoy working in a team, take responsibility and have a strong security awareness
- You have very good German skills and technical English, both spoken and written
