Role:
For an internationally active technology company, we are looking for an experienced individual who independently manages key areas of local financial accounting and takes responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. In addition to demanding accounting topics, you will work closely with various finance departments and can actively contribute to the further development and digitalisation of processes.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
You manage demanding general ledger topics such as reconciliations, accruals, provisions and closing entries
You analyse balance sheet and income statement items and ensure clear documentation
You prepare VAT declarations and perform the corresponding reconciliations
Qualifications:
You have a further education in finance and accounting, for example a professional certificate or a comparable qualification
You bring several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
You have good knowledge of Swiss accounting according to OR
You work confidently with Excel; knowledge of Abacus is an advantage
You communicate very well in German and English
