As a Platform Engineer Container, you take responsibility for a productive container platform based on Kubernetes and OpenShift. Stability, security, and lean operational processes are central. You review new cloud-native topics and integrate them into the environment. Those who enjoy automation and deep technical involvement will find plenty of scope for creativity here.
Responsibilities:
You operate the container platform and expand it step by step.
You analyse disruptions and resolve issues related to runtime, performance, and availability.
Furthermore, you support development teams with deployment and optimising their applications.
You translate operational tasks into repeatable, automated processes.
Additionally, you build observability, i.e. monitoring and logging for the entire platform.
You also evaluate new technologies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
You have practical experience operating Kubernetes or OpenShift.
You have solid Linux administration skills.
You have used GitOps and deployment tools such as Helm or ArgoCD.
You are interested in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Dynatrace.
Automation with Ansible as well as network and security basics in the container environment complete your profile.
You think analytically, tackle topics collaboratively with other teams, negotiate fluently in German both orally and in writing, and are willing to take occasional on-call duties.
