Powerful IT infrastructures form the foundation for secure and efficient business processes. In this technically demanding role, you will work on varied customer environments and combine consulting, engineering, and project work. Modern technologies, sustainable solutions, and a high standard of quality are at the centre.
You take responsibility for the technical implementation of complex IT solutions and accompany their entire lifecycle. From network and server to security and storage to cloud services, you will encounter different technologies and projects. At the same time, you are an important contact person for customers and support them in making their IT infrastructure future-proof.
Responsibilities:
Consulting customers on technical issues and developing individual infrastructure solutions
Planning, building, and operating demanding server, network, storage, and security environments
Configuring and further developing Microsoft- and Azure-based system landscapes
Conducting and coordinating IT projects including technical conception and implementation
Analysing existing infrastructures and identifying optimisation and modernisation potentials
Supporting the further development of highly available IT and cloud infrastructures
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science as well as an advanced technical qualification or comparable further education
Extensive professional experience as a system engineer or in a comparable infrastructure role
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and client environments
Extensive experience with Azure and hybrid cloud scenarios
Very good knowledge of network and communication technologies as well as a good understanding of IT security
Analytical, independent, and customer-oriented working style with a high quality awareness and good German skills
