We are looking for several experienced toolmakers for one of our clients in the watchmaking sector, based in Geneva:
Setter Mechanic in digital milling, digital turning, digital grinding, specialised in the manufacture of specific tooling, working in 2x8 and 3x8 shifts.

Job Description
You will be responsible for:
- Series changes, setting up fixtures, clamps and tooling, fine-tuning dimensions, starting up Hermle machining centres, DMG CTX lathes, Studer S41 and S141 grinders
- Machining and inspection of manufactured parts (single parts and very small series),
- Thorough inspections using traditional workshop measuring tools, 3D inspection and optical inspection depending on the parts.
- Minor hand finishing of tooling, and assembly of the latter.
- First-level maintenance.
- Position in 2x8 and 3x8 shift teams
Profile sought
- Holder of a Federal VET Diploma in Polymechanics or Federal VET Diploma as Micromechanic, Professional Baccalaureate or Higher Technical Certificate in Mechanical Production Engineering
- Having had several years of successful experience in mechanical industry in Switzerland, ideally in the watchmaking sector.
- Knowledge in the manufacture of punches and stamping dies is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of reading technical drawings.
- Good knowledge in the use of measuring tools including digital measuring tools.
- Good mechanical technical sense to find quick and effective solutions.
- Comfortable with computer tools for production tracking.
- Good eyesight to comply with visual inspections of manufactured parts.
- Team spirit and cohesion.
