Technical Director

Desired profile

• Engineering degree in mechanical, microtechnology or deemed equivalent
• Good knowledge of Lean Management and continuous improvement; a Green Belt / Black Belt certification is an asset
• Solid experience in a position of responsibility within an industrial environment with a strong technical component
• Very good knowledge of mechanical processes, manufacturing means and technologies used in precision environments
• Good understanding of study activities, technical development and industrialisation
• Proven experience in managing technical projects and improving processes, equipment or working methods
• Ability to coordinate different technical fields and ensure their convergence around common priorities
• Leadership, organisational skills and ability to mobilise teams in a context of change and continuous improvement
• Ease in communication, ability to work with varied interlocutors, organisational skills and a practical approach to issues

• A central role in the management and development of technical activities
• Varied responsibilities combining management, technical projects and continuous improvement
• A transversal role offering wide autonomy and regular exchanges with key company functions

• Supervise and harmonise a technical scope covering notably precision mechanical disciplines, study activities and technical means associated with production
• Lead the development, evolution and optimisation of technical solutions, equipment and means necessary for industrial activities
• Structure and manage technical projects, from the expression of needs to their implementation, ensuring monitoring of resources, deadlines and risks
• Ensure the quality, reliability and compliance of deployed solutions
• Identify and lead actions to improve processes, working methods and the performance of technical means
• Monitor technological developments and evaluate solutions likely to add value to activities
• Define technical orientations and support their breakdown into priorities, projects and concrete actions
• Provide expertise to various departments and contribute to decisions related to technical and industrial challenges
