OT Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you ensure the secure and stable operation of the OT system landscape for the gas transport infrastructure. You work at the interface between IT, operations and security with a clear focus on SCADA, network and security systems. You manage external service providers and coordinate outsourced operational services to ensure smooth operation. Additionally, you take responsibility for governance, audits and the resilience of critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- You operate, maintain and monitor our OT system landscape including SCADA, network and communication systems as well as OT firewalls and security components
- In this role, you ensure the availability and stability of our critical OT systems
- As an OT Engineer, you design and further develop our OT network architecture
- You are responsible for the compliant and secure operation of the OT systems in close collaboration with the CISO and implement security concepts and relevant standards
- In this role, you coordinate and manage external service providers and outsourcing partners and ensure the quality of outsourced operational services
- As an OT Engineer, you participate in audits, regulatory inspections and crisis management processes and contribute to the resilience of our critical infrastructure
Qualifications:
- You have a degree as an IT or electrical engineer FH, technician HF or a comparable qualification and advanced training in IT security or cyber security
- You like to take responsibility and work in a structured and independent manner
- You can implement security policies into OT-appropriate measures and communicate them appropriately to the target audience
- You have several years of professional experience in the network or security environment, ideally in security-critical system landscapes
- You analyse operational and security requirements of critical infrastructure, structure them and implement them practically
- You are characterised by an integrative personality with a high sense of security and responsibility and have very good German and English skills as well as a category B driving licence
