Role:
The focus is on the reliable operation and further development of modern IT infrastructures with an emphasis on Kubernetes, Linux, and automation. The scope of tasks is complemented by CI/CD, monitoring, system recovery, as well as collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities:
Operation and further development of productive Kubernetes clusters and customer platforms
Automation of provisioning, configuration, and deployments with Ansible
Administration, hardening, and patch management of the Linux server landscape
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and release processes
Monitoring availability, performance, and capacity as well as troubleshooting
Implementation and further development of recovery and restore procedures
Participation in the operation of the Windows server environment including Active Directory and Windows services
Conception and optimisation of operational processes and security standards
Collaboration with development, application managers, customers, and external suppliers
Qualifications:
Completed ICT training, higher technical college, degree, or comparable practical experience
Several years of experience in Linux server administration, for example RHEL, Debian, or Ubuntu
Practical experience with Kubernetes and Ansible, ideally complemented by Helm knowledge
Basic knowledge of Windows server administration or strong willingness to learn
Experience with Git as well as CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins
Understanding of network, storage, and security fundamentals in data centre and cloud environments
Analytical and solution-oriented working style as well as interest in automation
Teamwork skills, communication strength, and pronounced service orientation
Business fluent German; English skills for technical documentation are an advantage
