For our client, a manufacturing company in the Bern region, we are looking by arrangement for an accountant 80-100%. Your tasks with the new employer

• You take responsibility for the financial accounting of various locations and ensure correct posting of business transactions
• You independently handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes and ensure smooth payment transactions
• The preparation of monthly and annual financial statements as well as VAT returns are within your area of responsibility
• You actively participate in projects to optimise processes and systems and contribute your own improvement suggestions

You offer your new employer

• After a successful commercial qualification, you have preferably further specialised (e.g. specialist in finance and accounting)
• You bring at least five years of experience in finance, with assured balance sheet knowledge
• You communicate fluently in German; additional foreign languages are a plus
• You enjoy dealing with complex issues, share your knowledge with the team as well as with cross-departmental units and keep your accounting expertise up to date
