IT Operations Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
Do you want to not only operate modern IT landscapes but actively develop them further? In this role, you combine Microsoft cloud technologies, IT infrastructure and security into well-thought-out overall solutions. You take on technical responsibility, implement demanding projects and turn complex IT requirements into powerful solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, operation and continuous optimisation of modern ICT infrastructures in various corporate environments
Further development of hybrid IT landscapes with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
Planning and implementation of cloud migrations, system modernisations and infrastructure projects
Analysis of complex technical faults and sustainable resolution of problems in cloud, server and network environments
Development of secure system architectures considering Zero Trust, identity management and modern security standards
Integration of Microsoft Entra ID, Intune and other Microsoft cloud services into existing system landscapes
Technical support of customer projects from needs analysis through solution design to productive implementation
Support with demanding technical issues and knowledge transfer within the engineering team
Analysis of business requirements and translation into scalable, economical IT solutions
Creation of technical architecture concepts, operation manuals and system documentation
Identification of automation potentials and optimisation of recurring operational processes
Professional support in the development of new IT services and technical solution concepts
Qualifications:
Completed IT education or comparable qualification with relevant practical experience
Several years of professional experience in systems engineering or operation of complex ICT environments
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
Experience with hybrid infrastructures, identity services and modern workplace solutions
Solid understanding of network technologies, server architectures and IT service processes
Strong awareness of cybersecurity, authorisation concepts and technical protective measures
Ideally experience with PowerShell, Azure Automation or Infrastructure as Code
Ability to analyse technical requirements in a structured way and implement sustainable solutions
Independent working style, strong sense of responsibility and high service orientation
Strong communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with customers and technical departments
