Tasks
Occupational Safety and Health Protection: You independently process and supervise the enforcement of the Labour and Accident Insurance Act in the areas of occupational safety and health protection. In doing so, you review and approve construction plans and also carry out inspections and building approvals.
Conducting Inspections: You check safety systems in the area of occupational safety and health protection in companies (ASA inspection). You prepare reports and monitor the measures.
Providing Information: You provide information especially to companies, project managers and employees in the entire area of occupational safety and health protection.
Profile
Experience: You have several years of professional experience in the areas of occupational safety and health protection or in an equivalent function.
Personality: Resilience, strong assertiveness. Independent, goal-oriented, careful and precise way of working. Professional and service-oriented appearance. Flair for legal application and analytical thinking.
Education: You have a higher education in a technical or scientific field, complemented by a federal specialist certificate as a specialist in occupational safety and health protection (ASGS).
Language: Excellent oral and written German skills.

The Office for Economy and Labour (AWA) belongs to the Department of Economic, Social and Environmental Affairs and is the central office of the canton for all questions concerning companies, job search and the labour market.
