From the workplace to the cloud: as a Modern Workplace Engineer, you cover the entire spectrum of ICT. No day is the same. You keep a hybrid cloud environment running and are the first point of contact when something goes wrong. Those who like to get stuck in and want to learn new things will find plenty of room to grow here.
Responsibilities:
You assist employees in 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support, from the first call to complex fault analysis.
You take care of servers, systems and applications, which run partly locally and partly in the private or public cloud.
You are responsible for a stable network and reliable telephony at several locations.
In addition, you set up, maintain and secure workstations.
You resolve faults according to clear processes in IT service management (ITSM), investigate causes and keep everything well documented.
You also contribute your own ideas for automation and modernisation and consistently implement the requirements of a regulated environment.
Qualifications:
You have successfully completed training in computer science, ICT or a related field.
You are already familiar with a broad ICT landscape or want to learn exactly that.
You are familiar with cloud concepts in principle, and clean documentation as well as ITSM processes interest you.
In addition, you are open-minded: you enjoy delving into established legacy systems.
